One of my favorite websites for music is Canada's National Arts Centre. You can choose from English Theatre, French Theatre, Dance, or music. The music section is nicely laid out, and chock-full-o information. Check it out at ArtsAlive.
A good site for music lesson plans is LessonPlansPage.com. These are geared to the classroom, but many can be adjusted for the home. You can choose from several different age levels.
Check out FirstGov for Kids. This site contains a lot of good links to sites about music.
