Let me share a few places you can visit on the internet to learn about or experience art.
The Internation Child Art Foundation has an interesting web site. Most notably, visit ICAF's KidZone for a variety of activities. My favorite - click on the puzzle pieces for a creativity test!
Visit Ed Emberley's site for some great art activities on and off the computer. Ed Emberley is a well-known children's book author and illustrator. He has many books out on how to draw. This is a very fun site!
KinderArt has a good list of art lessons that are easy to teach.
So, there are three to start you off!
I feel like I say it a lot, but it is true - the web is a homeschooler's best friend! Information at your fingertips on any subject, around the world! What a wonderful thing to have.
Be sure to read Teaching Art at Home for more idea's relating to homeschooling and art!
Have fun!
