Learn to talk like a Pirate - Did pirates speak differently? Aye, tis true! Pirates, especially those operating during the Golden Age of Piracy, were their own social group, with their own customs, dress, laws, and speech.

Name youself Get a great pirate name! You can keep your own first name or create a new one. Add one of these to whichever first name you keep

Add a colorful adjective at the end of your name. Like "Pete the Red" or "Kate the Quick".

Research Learn about pirates from books and the internet. Try National Geographic's site for pirates!

Create! Make a pirate craft from Pirate Crafts. We did the Pirate Toilet Paper Roll. The kids needed some help cutting, but they had fun and the result was cute!
