A look at the Calvert Homeschooling approach and what it means to parents wanting to homeschool their child.

Their motto is “Inspire the best in your child”, and with a quick look at the website, it sure seems to fit their company. Calvert Homeschool has over 100 years of homeschooling help under their belt, and have a curriculum for online homeschooling that really can kickstart the at-home classroom. According to the press page, the facts about Calvert Homeschool are “Calvert's complete curriculum (Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade) is comprehensive, covering the three Rs – reading, writing, and arithmetic – as well as science, art, history, geography, music, technology, and other areas of learning to ensure no gaps in instruction. This comprehensive approach allows homeschooling parents to maximize teaching time, rather than researching subjects and writing lesson plans.”

Homeschool Curriculum

Each of the grades from Pre-Kindergarten to eight grade has 160 lesson plans and 20 review lessons. They come with everything you will need, from the modeling clay for the pre-K to the workbooks for the eighth grade. There is even a re-use course option so that parents with multiple children can reuse the books they receive and still get NEW lesson plans. This is a far more cost affordable option for those wanting to homeschool more than one child in the family.

Each grade of the Calvert Homeschool has many resources and materials, they don’t forget a thing and there is nothing that will have to be bought to teach with. This saves tremendous time and effort for the parent.
